If you like to shop for bargain deals and haven't already, check out http://www.woot.com and http://kids.woot.com/. Woot has a once a day deal that becomes available at 1 am eastern daily. It could be anything from a small flashlight item to a large LCD tv. Each day is different. This past year they launched a spin-off site for kids stuff. I've probably bought at least six things from it, including a Thomas train set for $50 that was $150 at Toys R Us. They also have t-shirt and wine sites. Shipping is always $5, regardless of the size or weight of the item or how many you purchase (maximum 3). The write ups for the items are absolutely hysterical.
Occasionally, they host "woot-offs" and today is one of those days. They post multiple items throughout the day. They are basically clearing out inventory. They are quite fun and I will probably check Woot every hour today to see what kind of deals could be had.
If you like a good deal, check the sites out when you have a moment.

That's funny that you saw them there! They are having another Woot off right now. I just bought two Crayola artist sets for $7 each. They will be added to my "gift" closet for upcoming birthdays. Of course, I might keep one for my boys. | Thu, 02/25/2010 - 1:58pm |
